Social Media + Webinar Promotion

Using Social Media to Promote and Increase Webinar Success

With 70% of companies transitioning to remote working, webinars are an effective way to add value while driving engagement with your brand virtually. According to InsideSales.com, 73% of marketing and sales leaders say webinars are one of the best ways to generate quality leads. Here are key ways you can use social media to effectively promote a webinar!

#1: INSTAGRAM & TIKTOK

With 400 million users watching Instagram Stories on a daily basis and users spending an average of 52 minutes per day on TikTok, these are the platforms to be on to spread the word about your online event. Include CTAs (call-to-actions) that encourage viewers to visit your website and register, and be sure to use a mix of static photos and animated videos to further capture attention.

#2: COUNTDOWNS

This is a fun and interactive way to build anticipation among followers, gain traction, and drive ticket sales! On Instagram, users can subscribe to the countdown event and receive a reminder when the time is up. This is a great way to engage attendees, get them to opt-in, and create a loyal following.

#3: SNEAK PREVIEWS

Social platforms such as Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook can publish temporary content that is only visible for 24 hours. Publish your own temporary stories to create a sense of exclusivity, excitement, and urgency. Use FOMO (fear of missing out) to your advantage by offering sneak peaks of what attendees will experience at the event!
