Define why you want to be on LinkedIn and what you want the outcome to be before you get started. This will help you set goals to ensure your efforts turn into results. The most common strategic goals for the real estate industry include:

  • Sharing value-added content 

  • Engaging with your connections’ content 

  • Getting in front of new opportunities by building your network, strategically

Realtors are constantly on the move, so scheduling is your friend! Since you probably won’t have much time each week to sit and write posts, dedicate a few hours once a month and plan out your content in advance. If your content is all planned for the month, it will free up time for you to engage with your audience. 

Your content calendar doesn’t have to be fancy; The idea to post consistently so your content gets maximum reach. Choose a posting frequency and stick to it (two to three high-quality posts a week is sufficient). 

Pro Tip: If you struggle with writing, video content is also extremely effective. If you’re comfortable on camera, create short, snappy videos on your phone. Share updates about the market, news about upcoming open houses, or a day-in-the-life.
